Which Vegas is Best?

For my birthday my parents got me a new computer and Sony Vegas 9 Pro to make movies with. I love Vegas and eveything about it but looking at movies and tutorials it seems the later versions can do so much more then my newer version can, which is really depressing

I was wondering if I was just not using it to it's full potential or if Vegas 9 is just not as good as the older verisions.

If you got the best as mentioned on those, you got nothing to fear. I belive Vegas pro 8.0 might got a bit more things you can do, but no really big differences. Your vegas should do the job.
